Description
This is a detached barn located approximately 25 metres north of Manor Farm, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed squared and dressed limestone, topped with a stone slate roof. The barn features a concrete block that blocks off a formerly open-fronted store. The main structure is rectangular, with a single-storey garage extension on the left that is not of special interest, and a former open-fronted store extending forward on the right. The barn has a central double-width entrance with a timber lintel, and there is a similar smaller doorway on the opposite wall. Inside, the barn consists of five bays with original tie beams and 19th-century king posts. This building is included for its group value with the adjacent Manor Farm.
