Description
This is a house located at 29 Leckhampton Road in Cheltenham, built around 1820 to 1850 in two stages. The exterior features stucco over brick with a gabled slate roof on the right side, while the rest of the roof is concealed. It has brick end and ridge stacks. The house is two storeys high with a basement and has five first-floor windows, with a service range at the rear. The left side of the house has a one-window bay that projects forward. There is a first-floor band, and the first floor includes four 8/8 sash windows and one 6/6 sash window on the right. The ground floor and basement have 6/6 sash windows. The central entrance is accessed by a flight of steps leading to a panelled door, which is flanked by sidelights and topped with an overlight in a raised surround that features a frieze and cornice. The left return of the house is canted and has 8/8 sash windows on the first floor and 6/6 sash windows on the ground floor. The rear of the house retains 8/8 sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
