Description
This is a villa dating from around 1820 to 1850, with later 19th-century ground-floor bays. It is constructed of ashlar facing brick, and has a slate roof. The house follows a double-depth plan with a central hallway. The exterior features two storeys and three windows on the first floor. There are pilasters to the ends of the facade and between the windows, along with a frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The first floor has a central blind opening flanked by 8/8 sash windows in plain reveals with sills. The ground floor includes outer canted bays with 1/1 sash windows and pilasters between, topped with an entablature and frieze. The central entrance has a panelled door and overlight, set within a doorcase composed of Doric columns, a frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course. The interior remains uninspected.
