Description

There are two iron bollards located approximately 4 metres west of the rear of Number 10 Clarence Road in Cheltenham. These bollards date from around 1830 to 1840 and are cylindrical in shape, tapering to a decorative finial with a central band. They are part of the original bollards that mark the southern boundary of the Pittville Estate. These bollards are significant as a streetscape feature of historical interest in Pittville and are grouped with Numbers 8, 9, and 10 Clarence Road.
