Description

This gate and gate piers, located approximately 15 meters southwest of the west end of the Church of the Holy Apostles, were built around the 1870s. They are made of cast iron. The piers feature dogbars with a trefoil head and scrolled cresting, while the gate has similar dogbars and bars adorned with a scrolled-cusp motif and scrolled cresting. This structure is an important part of the setting for the Church of the Holy Apostles and is included for its group value.
