Description
The gate and gate piers, located approximately 20 meters north of the chancel of the Church of the Holy Apostles, were likely constructed around 1871. They are made of cast iron. The piers feature a dog-bar with a trefoiled head and bars adorned with a scrolled-cusp motif, topped with scrolled cresting. The gate shares a similar design. This structure is identical to another gate and gate piers located about 15 meters to the southwest of the west end of the Church of the Holy Apostles. It contributes to the overall setting of the Church of the Holy Apostles and is included for its group value.
