Terraced house and shop. c1820-1834. Ashlar over brick, now painted, with concealed roof and end stucco stacks, wrought-iron balconies. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys 1 + 2 first-floor windows, that to left end in canted corner. First floor has 6/6 sashes in plain reveals and with sills. Crowning cornice and blocking course with copings. Ground floor: shop front extends around left corner, entrance to angle has glazed door with overlight; plate-glass windows have slender pilasters, shaped frieze, fascia and cornice. Floral entrance mosaic. INTERIOR: not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: first-floor individual balconies have embellished circle motif. HISTORICAL NOTE: shown on Merrett's 1834 Map. It was occupied in 1892 by the Devonshire Dairy and in 1957 by Gloucestershire Dairy. Forms a group with Nos 16 and 17 (qv) and other C19 properties in Suffolk Parade.
