Terraced house. c1830-50 with later additions and alterations including restorations of 1988. Painted stucco over brick with slate roof, parapet with brick stack to left end has oversailing detail and pots. Slate roof to bay window. Double-depth plan with hall to right. EXTERIOR: 2-storeys with basement. 2 first-floor windows. Stucco detailing includes pilaster strips, first-floor sill band, eaves band, moulded architrave to entrance; stucco scored to represent ashlar. Upper-floor sashes are 8/8 in plain reveals. Canted oriel window to left ground-floor has 2/2 and /1 sashes with horns. 7 steps to entrance with low flanking walls, 5-panel door, upper pair and centre raised and fielded with bolection moulding, bottom pair have flush beading to recessed panels; panelled reveals; Gothic traceried fanlight. Pair of C20 side-hung, multi-paned windows to basement. INTERIOR: not inspected. HISTORICAL NOTE: Nos 1-10 (consecutive) Rainbow Hill Terrace (qqv) form a good group of listed buildings comparing well with other developments of this period in Worcester such as Britannia Square, Lansdowne Crescent, and Lark Hill (qqv).
