Terraced house. c1830-50 with later additions and alterations. Painted stucco over brick; slate roof; parapeted gables in brick with brick coping, that to left is curvilinear and incorporates stack with cornice and pots; wide eaves. Double-depth plan with hall to right. EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with basement. 3 first-floor windows. Stucco detailing includes full-width plain band above ground-floor windows; eaves band with brackets to soffit, rectangular recessed panels between each bracket; corbels to window sills; moulded architraves to ground-floor windows; pilasters, console brackets and moulded cornice to entrance. Sashes are all 2/2 with horns in plain reveals with sills. 6 tone-steps with low flanking walls to entrance; 6-panel door, top 4 raised and fielded with bolection moulding, bottom pair flush-beaded; matching panelled reveals; overlight. INTERIOR: noted as retaining original features including cornices, panelled doors, architraves and skirtings. HISTORICAL NOTE: Nos 1-10 (consecutive) Rainbow Hill Terrace (qqv) form a good group of listed buildings comparing well with other developments of this period in Worcester such as Britannia Square, Lansdowne Crescent, and Lark Hill (qqv).
