Description

No. 11, Brunswick Square is an end-of-terrace house dating to approximately 1825, with minor alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of stuccoed brick, with a hipped slate roof and a brick stack. The house is a double-depth block, with a wing recessed to the rear on the left side, and an entrance porch situated in the re-entrant angle between the main block and the wing.

The exterior features a three-storey main block, with a two-storey added wing to the left. A slightly projecting plinth runs along the front and returns to the left side, with a small area in front of the basement window. A moulded cornice sits above the top floor, topped by a coped parapet. The front elevation has two sashes with glazing bars (3x4 panes) on the ground floor, two tall sashes with glazing bars (3x6 panes) on the first floor, and two sashes similar to the ground floor on the second floor. The first-floor sashes have decorative wrought-iron bow-fronted window guards. To the left is a 20th-century single-storey timber-framed and glazed entrance porch, approached by a flight of stone steps with a wrought-iron balustrade. The interior has not been inspected.
