Description

This house, now used as a day centre and flats, was likely built around 1800 to 1820. It is constructed with a stucco finish over brickwork, and has a renewed slate roof and rebuilt brick stacks. The exterior features wrought-iron balconies.

The house is three stories high, with three windows on the first floor and a two-story, two-window bowed front to the left. The windows are 6/6 sashes throughout, with the first-floor windows taller, and the bow windows curved. All windows have sills and are set in plain reveals. The entrance to the bow is a six-panel door, partly glazed. A low parapet and copings top the building, with raised gables.

Inside, the house contains two marble fireplaces and a cornice. Shutters are also present; the rest of the interior was not inspected. The first-floor balconies have embellished ironwork with scrolled lozenge patterns on the panels and lozenges on the lower frieze.
