Description

Roselawn is a villa dating from approximately 1820 to 1830, with later additions and alterations. The building is constructed of brick with a plastered facade, and has a concealed roof. Tall brick stacks and an iron porch are also present. The exterior is two storeys high, featuring five windows on the first floor. The original windows are 6/6 sashes, set in plain reveals with sills. A canted bay window is located on the ground floor to the left. The central entrance features a panelled door with a fanlight above. The left return side of the building has a two-storey curved bow window with 6/6 sashes. The interior of the villa was not inspected. A flat-roofed porch features uprights decorated with a rod and anthemion motif.
