Description

The icehouse in the grounds of Charlton Park dates from around 1803 to 1811 and was built for William Hunt Prinn. It is constructed of brick, featuring a brick front. The structure is domical in shape and has an entry eye at the top, along with a passage vault to the north. At the time of the survey, the icehouse was somewhat overgrown.
