Description
This building is a farmhouse located about 20 meters west of the Church of St Mary. It has origins dating back to the 17th century, with significant remodelling occurring around the 1870s. The exterior features stone rubble that is rendered at the front, a slate roof that is gabled at both ends, and brick chimneys at the gable ends. The original layout likely consisted of two rooms and a through passage, but a change in plane on the front indicates that the lower end has been rebuilt. In the late 19th century, the house underwent extensive remodelling, which included the insertion of a 19th-century staircase into the passage and a complete refenestration. A rear wing may also date from this period. The building is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with four windows. It features an off-centre gabled porch with a segmental arched outer doorway. The windows are 2-light casements with six panes per light and segmental arched heads. Inside, there is a 19th-century stick baluster staircase with Gothic detail and 19th-century doors.
