Description

Church Cottage is a 17th-century cottage with a 20th-century addition located in Exbourne. It features rendered cob walls and a gable-ended thatched roof, along with two gabled end rendered rubble stacks. The cottage has a two-room plan, with both rooms heated by end fireplaces. The exterior is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with two windows, which are a mix of one and two-light casements from the 20th century. The 20th-century addition at the front of the right-hand end includes a lean-to porch that has a panelled door. The interior was inaccessible at the time of the survey. The cottage is included for its group value.
