Description

EXBOURNE EXBOURNE SS 60 SW 5/48 Willow Cottage GV II Small house. C17 with C19 addition. Rendered cob walls. Gable ended thatched roof. Projecting rubble stack at right gable end with brick shaft. Plan: Originally 2-room plan, heated room to the right, probably with central passage. Probably in C19 very narrow unheated wing added in front of left-hand room. Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2-window front of C19 small-paned 2-light casements on first floor and C20 casements below. To their left is C19 panelled and part-glazed door. Narrow wing with splayed corners projects from left end with 3- light C20 casement on each floor. Interior inaccessible at time of survey.
