Description

The Manor House is a house dating from circa 1830. It is constructed of plastered stone with a hipped slate roof and has two plastered stone projecting stacks, one at the left-hand end and another at the rear of the right-hand side. The plan comprises two principal rooms at the front, flanking a central entrance hall, with service rooms at the rear. The front of the house is symmetrical, featuring a three-window arrangement of original hornless 16-pane sashes, with a 12-pane window to the first floor centrally. The first-floor windows are set in recessed surrounds. Ground-floor windows are within rectangular bays and have a canopy roof between them, above a central, pilastered doorcase which contains an original six-panel door. The interior has not been inspected.
