Description

This is a headstone dedicated to James Neaile, located 1 metre north of the rood loft projection of the parish church. It dates from 1753 and is made of slate, featuring a nowy head. Above the inscription, there is a spade-shaped shield with serifs, and below it, a short verse reads: "My Glass was quickly run. My days did swiftly fly line to a tale that is began. And ended by & by."
