Description
An 18th-century barn stands immediately to the north of numbers 1 and 2 Week Cottages. The barn is constructed with cob walls set on rubble footings, and has a hipped roof covered in corrugated asbestos. The building follows a long rectangular plan, featuring an off-centre threshing floor and a store room or animal shed at one end. Externally, it is a single-storey building with a loft. A cart entrance is located to the left of the centre and has projecting cheeks. A small window is positioned to the right of the centre, directly below the eaves. A door is present on the right-hand side, accompanied by a two-light window to its left, which has square section mullions and internal shutters.
