Description

This is a barn with a loft located about 1 metre east of Burcombe Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. It is built from whitewashed stone rubble and features a hipped corrugated iron roof at both ends. The loft entrance is situated at the rear, facing the farmyard, and is accessed by three steps leading up to a timber door that is sheltered by a corrugated iron canopy. Inside, the barn contains 19th-century trusses. This building is included for its group value with Burcombe Farmhouse.
