The building has a slate roof that is gabled at both ends, and there are stone stacks at the ends, with the right gable end stack projecting and featuring set-offs. The farmhouse has a single depth plan with an integral outshut and is two rooms wide. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical front with two windows. The central entrance is a gabled stone porch. The first-floor windows are three-light casements with six panes per light, while the ground floor windows are from the 20th century.
