Description

This is a cattle shelter located approximately 40 metres north-east of Morson Farmhouse, dating from the early 19th century. The structure features cob on stone rubble walls, which have been partially repaired with concrete blocks. It has a hipped roof made of corrugated iron. The building has an open-fronted design with a four-bay plan, divided at the front by monolithic granite posts, with sheets of corrugated iron infilling that were added in the 20th century. This cattle shelter is part of a very traditional and largely unaltered farm complex.
