Description

Vigo Bridge, built in 1773, spans the River Tavy. It is constructed from stone rubble and features granite parapet copings and voussoirs. The bridge has three semi-circular arches, each with a recessed order and keystones. There are pointed cut-waters that extend to create refuges, with two located on the west side and one on the east side. Notably, at the north end of the east side, the arch is splayed on plan.
