Description
Corner House is an early 19th-century stucco house located at the corner of Potacre Street and Calf Street. It is three stories tall with a three-window front, featuring quoin pilasters and a moulded eaves cornice. The house has sash windows with glazing bars, rusticated voussoirs, and keys. The doorcase is adorned with engaged Tuscan columns that support an entablature, and it includes a patterned radial-bar fanlight. There is a high garden wall along Calf Street, which has a parapet that sweeps up to gate piers topped with terra-cotta ball finials. A wrought iron overthrow features a Victorian lamb design. Additionally, there is a bow window at the back of the house. The properties numbered 6 to 18 (even) form a group with this building.
