Description
The building is an outbuilding, likely a granary, located immediately northeast of Welcombe Barton. It probably dates from the 19th century and is constructed of local slate rubble with a corrugated iron gable-ended roof. The structure is a small rectangular single-cell building, standing at one storey. The east gable end features a centrally located doorway with a plank door and a timber lintel. The west gable end includes a 20th-century five-light window with glazing bars, a timber lintel, and a slate sill. Inside, the walls are plastered, and the roof structure has been replaced. Originally, there was a boarded grain bin at the west end, but this has since been removed.
