Description
The lych gate, stile, and short section of churchyard wall at the Church of St Nectan are notable features likely dating from the 18th century, with the lych gate probably rebuilt in the early 20th century. The structure is made of rubble stone. The lych gate has rubble side walls that support a gabled roof, which is slated and topped with clay ridge tiles. It features an ornamental oak gate from around 1945, and the roof may have been renewed at that time as well. To the left of the lych gate is a stile with three steps leading up, a large upright stone slab, and two steps down into the churchyard. Adjacent to the stile is a section of churchyard wall that is approximately 1 metre high and 5 metres long, topped with flat stone capping.
