Description

This outbuilding, located approximately 20 meters west of Broad Park, is likely a former corn or hay barn dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of cob on a low stone plinth and features a hipped corrugated iron roof. The building is a single storey with timber lintels above a narrow door and a small window, while the rear doorway has been infilled with concrete blocks. Inside, there is a four-bay A-frame roof, with each truss featuring a pegged collar and crossed apex, made from light scantling. This structure is included for its group value.
