Description
The Golden Hinde Public House dates from the early or mid-19th century. It is a two-storey building with a solid rendered front and a slated roof, featuring a rendered chimney on the right side-wall. The fenestration is irregular, with two windows on the ground floor to the left, a doorway to the right, and one window at each end of the upper floor. Pilaster strips flank the front, rising to a raised band below the eaves. The doorway has a broad, plain architrave and a late 20th-century panelled wooden door, deeply recessed. Windows are 8-paned sashes in recessed box frames. The interior was not inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
