Description

This is an early 19th-century house, likely originally part of a pair, with No. 4 Queen Street. The front is solid and rendered, topped with a slate roof. It is two storeys high and has a two-window front. A round-arched doorway is on the right-hand side, containing a six-panelled door and a cobweb fanlight, which has been altered with the addition of small round panes at the base. A late 20th-century wooden window with 18 panes is to the left, likely replacing an earlier shop front. The upper windows are six-paned barred sashes, with the left-hand window having four-paned side sashes. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The interior was not inspected, but a mid-19th century inner front door remains, which is half-glazed with margin-panes containing coloured glass.
