Description
This is a bank barn located approximately 10 meters west of Coombe, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed slatestone rubble and features a gabled slate roof. The barn has two storeys, with a threshing barn situated above a cowhouse. The threshing floor is accessed through a pair of 19th-century plank double doors, which are set beneath a timber lintel and flanked by doveholes. There are three ground-floor doorways, each with semi-circular stone arches; the doorway on the right has been blocked, and the central doorway is partially blocked, while the left doorway has plank double doors. To the left of the barn, there is a two-storey outbuilding that includes a segmental arch over a 20th-century door. This barn is included for its group value.
