Description

The Baptist Chapel, dated 1832, is constructed from coursed slatestone rubble and features a gabled slate roof. It has a single-cell plan with a gabled front that includes a pointed stone arch over a window, which has Gothic-style glazing bars above it. Below the arch are late 19th-century plank double doors with a Gothic-style fanlight. There is a similar tall window on the rear gable. Inside, the chapel has a mid-19th century scissor-braced roof. An extension added in 1952 to the right side of the chapel is not of special architectural interest.
