Description

Dartmoor View is a small house dating from the mid to late 17th century. It features rendered cob and rubble walls and has a gable-ended thatch roof. There is a projecting rendered rubble stack with a brick shaft at the left gable end and a brick stack at the right end. The house has a two-room plan, which likely originally included a central passage, with both rooms heated; however, the right-hand stack may have been added later.

The exterior is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical two-window front. On the first floor, there is a 20th-century single light casement window to the left of centre and a two-light casement window, possibly from the 19th century, to the right. The ground floor features an early 20th-century two-pane sash window to the left, with a 20th-century plank door to its right. Inside, there are two cross beams, one in each room, but the fireplaces have been blocked in the 20th century.
