Description
This milestone, located approximately 240 metres southwest of Yatton Court, dates from the early to mid 19th century. It is made of granite and has a triangular shape with two round-headed faces on the front. The inscriptions on the milestone were largely illegible during a survey in December 1987, but it is believed that they once read: "29/Miles/Exeter" and "5/Miles/Torrington". This milestone is part of a series along the B 3220.
