Description
This is a milestone located approximately 30 metres south of Moorparks, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is made of granite and has a triangular shape with two round-headed faces on the front. The inscriptions on the milestone were largely illegible during a survey conducted in December 1987, but it is believed that they once read: "28/Miles/Exeter" and "6/Miles/Torrington". This milestone is part of a series along the B 3220.
