Description

Sea Vista is an early 19th-century house located on the Strand in Kenton, near Starcross. The house is rendered with a slate roof, and has a chimney stack on the left end. Its plan is rectangular with a narrow frontage, incorporating a front door to the right. The asymmetrical two-bay front features a deep eaves cornice and a two-storey bow to the left. A 19th-century recessed panelled front door is set within a moulded doorcase and has a rectangular fanlight. The bow is glazed with 19th-century timber sash windows: four-pane to the outer lights and twelve-pane to the centre. There is an attic dormer window with a four-over-eight-pane sash. The interior was not inspected, but may retain original features. It is described as an attractive small house, situated on the strand.
