Description
This barn dates from the early 19th century and stands immediately to the north-west of Borough Farmhouse. It is constructed of rubble walls with a corrugated asbestos roof. The ground floor contains shippons, with storage lofts and potentially a granary above. The barn is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front elevation. To the left of centre are two doorways at ground floor level, and to the right of centre are stone steps and two windows. A loading door for the loft is located on the first floor, and a door is situated above the steps. Some of the openings are topped with voussoir stone lintels. Pigeon holes are visible under the eaves. The interior has not been inspected. The barn forms a group with Borough Farmhouse.
