Description

This pair of gate piers, located to the west and south west of the Church of St Michael, dates from the early 19th century. They are constructed from dressed granite and rubble, with the south west pier likely having been moved and rebuilt. Both piers are square in section and feature large granite ball finials that are carved with a key moulding. The west pier includes a granite water stoup. These piers have group value with the church.
