Description

Rock Cottage comprises two ranges built parallel to one another. The front range dates from the early 19th century, while the rear range was constructed in the mid-19th century. The front of the cottage is plastered and two storeys high, with a slate roof. The front elevation features four sash windows with intact glazing bars. A doorcase is present, with a cornice and pilasters. The roofline has scalloped bargeboards. A three-light canted bay window extends through both floors of the side elevation. The cottage occupies a significant position on the quayside.
