Description

This direction post, located about 5 metres from the junction with Bradley Road in Bovey Tracey, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of granite and features a square-section post with a roughly shaped head. The post has carved inscriptions with serifs on three sides: "TO HENNOCK" on the north-east side, "TO BOVEY" on the north-west side, and "TO CHUDLEIGH" on the south-west side, which includes a direction arrow.
