Description

The direction post at the north-east corner of Huish Crossroads is an early 19th-century structure. It is made of square-section granite and features a shaped head. The post has inscriptions carved on its sides: "TO S. BOVEY" on the south-west side, "TO HENNOCK" on the north-west side, and "TO EXETER" on the north-east side. The inscription on the south-east side is hidden by a hedge.
