Description
This description is for a pair of matching medieval tomb slabs located on either side of the top step immediately south of the entrance to the south porch of the Church of St Thomas of Canterbury in Bovey Tracey. The slabs are made of granite, each measuring about 2 metres long and 75 centimetres wide. Each slab features a long incised cross with hands and arms extending outward, along with a rectangular ornament at the foot of each cross, which is partly obliterated. The slabs have likely been re-set.
