Description

This direction post, located at the north-east corner of Beacon Lane at Cherrycombehead Crossroads, dates back to the early 19th century. It is made of granite and features a square-section design with a shaped head. The post has carved inscriptions indicating directions: "TO BRIDFORD" on the north side, "TO MORETON" on the north-west side, "TO BOVEY" on the south-east side, and "TO HENNOCK" on the east side.
