Description

Summer Cottage is likely from the 18th century, and has undergone restoration and modernisation. It is a two-storey stone building with two renewed three-light casement windows. The ground floor features a wide bay projection covered by a slate pentise roof. The stonework is roughly coursed, and the roof is slate and rendered. A roughly 4-foot-high stone wall with a rustic cope defines the front garden. Summer Cottage forms a group with Elworthy Cottage, Glencora, Old Cottage and Rose Cottage.
