Description
Stockadon Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 18th century or early 19th century. The front is rendered, with rubble on the other sides, and it features a symmetrical three-bay front with a large additional bay on the right. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three windows on the ground floor and one on the first floor. The ground floor windows are 16-pane sashes, while the first floor has 12-pane sashes. The entrance, located in the left half, has a door with a fanlight above it, set in a square head. There is a small brick gable stack on the left and another at the ridge to the right of the main three-bay section, while the right gable has an external brick stack. The back of the house features an arched light at the stair and a three-light casement with leading, as well as a large eaves stack. The left end of the building is plain and rendered. Inside, the interior has been significantly modified but retains a dog-leg stick stair that spans two floors.
