Description
The building is a stable located about 15 meters northeast of Riverbridge Farmhouse, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed from local slate rubble and features a hipped scantle slate roof. The stable has a rectangular plan, with stables on the ground floor and a loft above. The south front is symmetrical with three bays, including two small window openings on both the ground and first floors, each with timber lintels. The left-hand window on the first floor has been blocked. There is a central doorway, also with a timber lintel, which contains a 20th-century boarded door. The left-hand (west) end has doorways on both floors, each with 20th-century boarded doors. The rear (north) elevation features a wide doorway to the left, providing access from the higher ground level. The interior has not been inspected.
