Description
Thatched Cottage is a small detached cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed of rendered cob with a thatched roof and features a gable entry, although no stack remains. The cottage is one and a half storeys high. On the road side, there is a deep-set three-light window under a two-light casement with an eyebrow above it on the left, and a two-light window on the far right. There are steps leading up to a 20th-century door, which is sheltered by a thatched hood and flanked by concrete block cheeks in the gable entry. A small two-light window is located at the top left. The back of the cottage is built against rock and includes a narrow passageway and a two-light casement window with an eyebrow. The roof is half-hipped. The interior has not been inspected but is believed to have been significantly modified.
