Description
This is an early 19th-century lodge built as an ancillary building to Woolston House. It is a single-story, symmetrical cottage with a T-shaped plan and a thatched roof. The lodge is rendered and has a projecting porch. The front of the lodge is unaltered, featuring three Tudor casement windows with three-square drip courses above them. The front door is planked with a flat four-centred head, also set beneath a drip course, and the thatch rises in three gables over the openings. There is a brick stack located at the junction of the T-shaped plan’s leg.
