Description

This is an anonymous headstone dating from the late 18th century, located approximately 15 metres north of the tower of the former Church of St Mary in Dartington. It is made of Portland stone and features a moulded shouldered nowy head that contains a fluted urn, which is flanked by relief paterae. The inscription panel below the headstone is currently illegible due to a cover of moss.
