Description

Coldharbour Cottages Nos 2 to 10 form a terrace of mid-19th century cottages built on a hillside in three stepped ranges. Each range has two storeys and two windows, with a main entrance on the south side. The cottages have Welsh slate roofs with boxed-out, projecting eaves, and red brick ridge stacks. They are constructed of random Devonian limestone rubble with freestone dressings, and have a weathered plinth. The north side (facing the street) has casement windows with two lights, splayed surrounds, voussoir mullions, ogee mouldings, and lattice casements. The south side has similar, but plainer, windows. Cottage No. 2 features a gabled stone porch approached by a stem. Cottages Nos. 3 to 10 have segmental arched doorways, some with modern porches.
