Description

No. 87 High Street is a mid to late 19th century building that stands three storeys tall and features two windows. The roof is hipped and covered with Welsh slate, complemented by a rendered stack. The front of the building is rendered and includes an eaves cornice, pilaster strips on the quoins, and a plain band on the second floor. The windows are segmental arched sash types with edge rolls. The shopfront is wooden, adorned with pilasters and brackets that flank the fascia. There is a segmental arched light above the shop window, which has columnette mullions. The house door is raised and fielded, topped with a square-headed fanlight.
